Deep green Dioptase crystals formed on a shattuckite covered matrix from the Tantara mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The dioptase on this piece are large and have a waxy/wet luster with excellent color saturation. The shattuckite is a nice powder blue offering some contrast from the darker dioptase color. Measures 57x32x21mm and weighs 53 grams.
